ERP & Data
Integration
Autonomy connects bidirectionally with your ERP systems. Master data and transactional history flow in during initial provisioning and land in the shared world model. After go-live, Change Data Capture runs on a schedule, into a staging schema partitioned by tenant and ERP source, validated, and ingested. Optimized plans and every agent action are written back to your ERP.
"The #1 barrier to supply chain AI adoption is not algorithms, it's getting clean, timely data out of ERP systems and back in again."
Data Flow Architecture
From ERP extraction through staging to the Autonomy platform, and back
Initial Provisioning
When a new tenant is onboarded, Autonomy performs a full extraction of master data and transactional history from the source ERP. This includes material masters, plant configurations, BOM structures, vendor and customer records, inventory levels, open orders, shipments, and 2+ years of demand history.
Data lands first in a staging schema isolated per tenant and ERP source. This isolation ensures that one tenant's data never mixes with another's, and that different ERP formats are normalized before entering the shared Autonomy data model.
During staging, AI-enhanced validation runs automatically: custom Z-fields from SAP are interpreted, fuzzy matching maps non-standard field names to the Autonomy schema, and data quality issues are auto-fixed where possible. The result is a clean, complete dataset ready for agent training, the initial write into the shared world model.
Change Data Capture (CDC)
After initial provisioning, Autonomy stays synchronized with your ERP through scheduled CDC. Only changed records are extracted, typically achieving a 99.5% reduction in data volume compared to full re-extraction.
The CDC pipeline follows the same path: ERP changes land in the tenant's staging schema, pass through AI validation, and are ingested into the Autonomy database. This runs on a configurable schedule, typically daily for master data changes and hourly for transactional updates.
CDC serves a dual purpose: it keeps the planning data current, and it feeds the agent retraining loop. When CDC detects that incoming data has drifted from the patterns the agents were trained on, demand shifting more than 15% from forecast, lead times increasing 30% above baseline, service levels dropping, it triggers automatic agent retraining.
AI-Enhanced Data Ingestion
Powered by Claude AI for intelligent schema mapping and data quality
SAP custom fields (Z*/ZZ*) are automatically interpreted and mapped. ZCUSTLEAD becomes "Customer lead time in days" without manual configuration.
AI matches source schema fields to the Autonomy data model even when names, formats, and conventions differ between ERP systems.
Data types, ranges, referential integrity, and business rules are validated automatically with intelligent error detection.
Common data quality issues, missing fields, type mismatches, encoding errors, are corrected automatically. Over 90% of issues resolved without manual intervention.
Hash-based and date-based change detection transfers only modified records. 99.5% reduction in data volume, 20x faster than full re-extraction.
Agent actions and optimized plans, planned orders, forecasts, recommendations, are written back to your ERP in its native format. SAP RFC or CSV.
